10 Beauty Products on a Budget

Beauty on a Budget

There are a few products that I always have on hand to boost my beauty routine. Luckily, they can all (except Kylie Lip Kit) be found on a budget at your local Target! I thought I’d share 10 of my favorites that I really can’t live without.

1.) NYX Photo Loving Primer $12.99

I use this to smooth out my skin before applying foundation. It also helps mattify my oily skin, which is a huge plus for me!

2.) E.L.F. HD Lifting Concealer $3.00

This is great for covering blemishes and under-eye circles. Quick tip: apply it in upside down triangles rather than semi-circles under your eyes to draw the brightness down to your cheeks too!

3.) E.L.F. Golden Bronzer $3.04

This compact has four shades to create a blended and bronzed look. I apply to my cheekbones, forehead, jawline, neck and nose (all the places your would contour) to give my skin a sun kissed and shimmery glow all year round. Don’t forget your kabuki brush!

4.) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black $4.29

I was blessed with long eyelashes, and this is the only mascara that gives me the look I want. I’ve tried every kind of plumping, lengthening, fanning mascara you can find and this is the one I keep coming back to. It accentuates my lashes without looking clumpy.

5.) NYX Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe $4.79

This is seriously so easy to use. It’s everything I need in one tool-the color and the brush for blending. Also, it’s a twist up which I love so much. I hate sharpening! I just outline, fill, blend then touch up with a q-tip.

6.) Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in Koko K $29.00 + shipping

OK. So I will admit that this is a little pricier than what I would consider a ‘budget’ item. And I will be sharing a similar, less expensive product I found on an upcoming blog. BUT, Kylie did good. It’s a long lasting matte and smells good too, which is surprisingly important to me in a lip product. It’s not too drying, however, I do sometimes add a little chapstick if I need a little extra moisture. Plus, it’s just freakin’ cute.

7.) E.L.F. Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets $1.00

These are so key when you have oily skin like I do. I always keep them in my purse so they’re handy whenever I need a touch up.

8.) Up&Up Wet Cleansing Towelettes $3.59

I honestly don’t know what I did before make-up wipes came along. I never, EVER have to sleep in makeup anymore – no matter how exhausted I am. Not to mention they’re so easy to pack because you don’t have to worry about a 3.4oz liquid limit!

9.) Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water $6.99

This can be used in place of a facial cleanser, but I like to use it after the make-up wipes to get anything that was left behind. I want to be sure I go to bed with a completely clean face, and this helps me do that. There are also several other brands that have Micellar Water, this is just the one I’ve tried and liked.

10.) Sonia Kashuk Radiant Boost Restorative Facial Oil $15.99

I have to admit, putting oil on my face when I already have oily, acne-prone skin was kind of scary. But I promise, your skin will feel amazing. Just apply to your face and neck before bed so your skin has time to fully absorb it and you’ll wake up with soft and moisturized skin! It also has several antioxidants to help with anti-aging. Woo!
